Our Story

Built in Tampa Bay, One Roof at a Time

Buddy Cheaves found roofing at sixteen, on rooftops across Tampa. For nearly a decade he learned the trade the hard way as a subcontractor, working every kind of system there is - shingle, tile, metal, and flat. In 1994 he bet on himself and founded Buddy's Roofing, and he has been a business owner ever since.

More than thirty years later, Buddy's Roofing is still family-owned and still run the same way: every job handled by our own direct-hire crews, never subcontractors, and backed by some of the strongest warranties in the industry. From the simplest repair to the most complicated reroof, the goal has never changed - protect what matters most to the families and businesses of Tampa Bay.
